Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 23, 2026

This policy explains what information we collect on lorqe.com, why we collect it, and how you can reach us about it.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to lorqe.com and related contact channels we operate (for example, hello@lorqe.com). It does not cover third-party sites we link to.

If you become a Lorqe client, additional privacy or data-processing terms may appear in your contract, especially when we handle your customers’ data as a processor.

2. Information we collect

We collect information you choose to give us and some technical data created when you visit the site.

  • Contact details you submit (name, email, company, phone, project notes).
  • Career or inquiry materials you send (résumé, portfolio links, role interest).
  • Basic technical data such as browser type, device, approximate location derived from IP, pages viewed, and referring URL.
  • Cookie or similar identifiers used for site function, analytics, or preferences, where enabled.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has submitted data to us, contact hello@lorqe.com and we will delete it.

3. How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • Respond to inquiries and schedule conversations.
  • Prepare proposals and evaluate project fit.
  • Review job applications and hiring interest.
  • Operate, secure, and improve the website.
  • Send follow-ups you requested (we do not sell your contact list).
  • Meet legal, accounting, or security obligations when required.

4. Cookies and analytics

We may use first-party cookies and similar tools so the site works correctly and so we can understand which pages are useful. Some analytics providers may set their own cookies when we enable them.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking certain cookies may affect site behavior. For details about a specific tool we use, ask us at hello@lorqe.com.

5. When we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share it only when needed to run the business, for example:

  • Service providers who help with email, hosting, analytics, or recruiting, under obligations to protect the data.
  • Professional advisors (legal, accounting) under confidentiality.
  • Authorities when the law requires disclosure or when needed to protect rights, safety, or the site.
  • A successor entity if Lorqe is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, with notice where required.

6. Retention

We keep contact and project inquiry records as long as needed to manage the conversation and our legitimate business records, then delete or anonymize them when they are no longer useful—unless a longer period is required by law or dispute resolution.

Application materials are kept for the hiring cycle and a limited period afterward unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure. If we become aware of a breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you and regulators when the law requires it.

8. International visitors

Lorqe is based in the United States. If you contact us from another country, your information may be processed in the U.S. or other locations where our providers operate. By using the site, you understand that transfer.

9. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information we hold about you, or to object to certain processing.

California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know categories of personal information collected and to request deletion, subject to legal exceptions. We do not sell personal information as that term is commonly defined under those laws.

To make a request, email hello@lorqe.com with enough detail for us to verify and respond. We may need to confirm your identity before completing the request.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practices or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the latest version. Material changes may also be noted on the site or by email when appropriate.
